Light & Refreshing To Cool Your Pitta: Summa-time Green Drinks


Lately, my mornings have consisted of sipping on mint tea while blending up a few mason jars of green drinks to supply me with energy throughout the beginning half of my day. I've really enjoyed most using honeydew (which i'm a HUGE fan of). Here's a few variations of a lovely sweet green drink that will dance around your palette and fuel you until your next meal.

Honeydew breeze:

flesh from 1/4 of a honeydew melon
handful of spinach
1-2 tbsp of fresh cilantro
4 ice cubes
1/2 cup fresh coconut water (from coconut) or if you don't have use 1/2 a cucumber.

blend away.

(If you like that one you'll also most likely enjoy this one)

Green Coco Sipper:

1 cup coconut water (from coconut)
handful of spinach
1/2 cucumber
1 and 1/2 tbsp shredded coconut or use the flesh from inside of the coconut
1-2 tbsp of cilantro
stevia to sweeten
4 ice cubes

blend.
