Baked Kale Chips: An Tastey Indulgence In Under 15 Minutes

Spring is greens season!  Our garden is producing so much kale right now, even a caterpillar like me can hardly keep up!  Today i clipped a bunch and made a batch of baked kale chips.  Takes under 15 minutes and makes another great healthy and yummy snack.  The only problem with kale chips is that they are super addicting and they leave green remnants in your teeth.  Make a big bunch to share and make sure you're eating them with a REAL friend...you know, the kind that will tell you honestly about all the things stuck in your teeth.

Clean the kale and make sure you dry it well
Spray the kale lightly with EVOO
Sprinkle with sea salt or other seasonings
Bake at 300 degrees for about 10 minutes until crispy and edges are just turning golden.

Click here for another great way to make raw kale chips if you have a dehydrator.  The nutritional yeast and spirulina with agave and salt is to die for....really.

  1. Oh wow, I love how you made these in the oven under 30 mins! Ive tried this recipe before with a dehydrator but it took hours. Thanks for your infinite wisdom. Happy Friday!
