Not Such A Crummy Way To Start Your Day: Cobbler Crumble

Good Morning all of you living your grateful lives!  Here is one more thing to be grateful of:  Cleanse Approved Cobbler...AND you can have it for breakfast!!!  OMG really?  dessert for breakfast?  I say go for it!!!  Every morning when you rise you are breaking an 8-10 hour sleeping fast (breakfast = break - fast).  Best way to break a fast is with food that's easy to digest.  I couldn't think of anything better than hydrating, light, and satisfying fruits!  Plus, berries are in season and they are sooooo good right now!

The cobbler is simple to make and i often make a batch to use throughout the week.  You can pick any seasonal fruits you like:  peaches, nectarines, apricots, strawberries, etc.  You really can't go wrong!  I've even used this crumble as a topping on banilla soft serve (frozen bananas and vanilla bean in the food processor make an AMAZING soft serve style ice cream).

YUM FACE!!!!!
The cobbler is simple.  You'll need:

1/2 cup gluten free oats (bob's red mill)
1/4 cup raw cashews
approximately 4 large pitted medjool dates.
cinnamon

Toss the oats, cashews, and a few dashes of cinnamon in the food processor and whizz it down to the consistency of coarse sand.  Add the dates a few at a time and whizz again until you get a somewhat sticky looking sand.  Cobbler complete!

Chop fruit into a bowl, (optionally/pictured) add a few tbsp's of fresh hemp seeds (awesome protein/omega boost) and top with a few spoonfuls of crumble.  Wha-lah!  Not such a crummy way to start the day, eh?
