Simply The Best Green Smoothie, Day 5

Are you taking the great green smoothie challenge?  

Every day is the perfect day to start.

Today's Smoothie trumps any smoothie i've ever made, and there are only 3 ingredients, with a fourth optional (it's delicious either way, i promise).

  • 1 whole coconut, you'll use all the water and the meat from half
  • one slice of ripe avocado, about 2 Tbsp 
  • 2 giant handfuls of baby spinach
  • optional 1/2 scoop of sun warrior vanilla warrior blend (optional, but delicious :)
  • a couple ice cubes

Crack open the coconut by striking in a circular direction around the base of the peak of the coconut (use the squared bottom corner end of a sharp knife or butchers knife).  Peel off the peak once you've cracked through (use the corner of the knife to help peel the top off).  Pour the water into the blender.  Use a spoon to scoop 1/2 of the meat out.  Toss in the remaining ingredients & blend.  Pour the contents back into your coconut shell.  Pop in a straw, an umbrella, and get sipping!
