Detoxifying Superfood Smoothie & Whole Living's 21 day Challenge

This morning my smoothie was inspired by their recipe for grapefruit, carrot, ginger juice. Carrot and Grapefruit are both great liver cleansers, and i don't know about you, but i know my liver could use a good flushing right about now! I plan to do Beaming Cleanse in January, but think it will be even more beneficial after taking a few solid weeks to eat very clean. Here's what i came up with. Not only is it a super pretty pink color, but it tasted fab too!
Detoxifying Superfood Smoothie
5 carrots juiced (about 1/4 cup fresh pressed carrot juice)
4-6 oz water
2 ice cubes
1 small to medium pink grapefruit
1 scoop Vanilla Sun Warrior Protein Powder
1/2 tsp maca
Blend in a vitamix or other high powered blender
