Good Eatin' Oat-E Bars


Perfect for your Grateful Lips and Sexy Hips.  Here's a raw, healthy, and clean-eating energy bar, sans any low quality sugars, preservatives, or fillers.  JUST * GOOD * CLEAN * FOOD.

Raw Chewy Oat-E Bars:

6 pitted medjool dates
1/4 cup fresh orange juice (squeezed from a medium orange)
2 heaping Tbsps Raw Creamy Almond Butter
1 Tbsp Honey
1 cup raw almonds
1/4 cup whole flaxseeds
1 1/2 cups gluten free (uncooked) oats
cinnamon - to taste, a few dashes
sea salt - also a few sprinkles, to taste

Put the dates in the food processor with the almond butter, honey, and orange juice.  Process the dates down.  Add all the other ingredients and process lightly until everything is combined well and tacky/sticks together.  Remove contents from food processor and place on parchment paper.  Form a large square.  Score into 10 bars.  Store in the fridge-y.

i use plastic mixed greens containers to store bars in.  Parchment in between to prevent sticking.  store in fridge.
