Needless to say this morning i felt quite a bit less vibrant than i have the past seven days. I don't know why i never learn my lesson. It always seems like such a novel idea in the moment.
Today was the first day on my modified 'small meal pack'. This is a much better size for me. I'm now using the Go Raw meal plan as an adjunct to my diet. I'm adding in more protein food, cutting back on the nuts, and eliminating most of the in-between meal snacking. I was eating way too much, and i feel like i may have gained a little weight because of that.
Day 8 Notes & Noshes:
|8:30am Protein Green Smoothie. 1 1/4 cup Almond Milk from Go Raw Life Center blended with 1/2 a banana, a tbsp of chia, spinach, 1 packet of Vega Vanilla Chai Protein, 1 tsp of vita-mineral greens, and ice.|
|11:30am mini Live Pumpkin (seed) Bar|
|2pm Salad of greens, red pepper, tomatoes, cukes, and fennel with a caesar-esque vinaigrette, |
2 oz grilled salmon (unpictured) and the flax snax pictured below.
|7pm Spinach Salad with strawberries, blueberries, and a citrus vinaigrette. I took all of the almonds off and ate the salad with a piece of the talapia pictured below.|
The only thing i did not eat from the meal pack today was the Watermelon.
I ate half the chocolate after lunch, and half after dinner.
